Ipswich Town boss Paul Jewell is considering making Keith Andrews' loan from Blackburn Rovers a permanent move. The 30-year-old midfielder, at Portman Road until January, has scored three times in his four Ipswich appearances.

"It's up to Keith to impress, he's done well and if a deal can be done and it suits both parties, we'll try and do it," Jewell told BBC Radio Suffolk.

"I'm pleased to have him here and we'll just see how that goes."

The Republic of Ireland international has hinted he would be reluctant to return to Ewood Park, where he has a difficult relationship with some of the club's fans.

After moving to Ipswich he said: "I've always conducted myself very well so it's refreshing to come to a football club where you're appreciated."
