Blackburn's Allardyce ecstatic to get three points

Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce was delighted to have snatched all three points from the grasp of Fulham and keep survival hopes well and truly alive.

"We didn't think the game was going to go our way," he told the club's official website.

"We hit the post and Mark Schwarzer kept pulling off some miraculous saves.

"But then Dioufy (El Hadji Diouf) got one and really we dominated the whole of the second half from there on after the first five minutes.

"To come back from a goal down is always very difficult in the Premier League, but to come back and win from a goal down, in the position we are in, away from home in the Premier League is the first time we've achieved it this season."
