Blackburn Rovers have announced that Australian midfielder Brett Emerton is up for sale.
It is believed the Lancashire club have offered Emerton to Turkish club Galatasaray along with club and country teammate Vince Grella who was already linked with a move to Istanbul.
Emerton is currently in South Africa preparing for the World Cup with the Socceroos but his club future is certainly now in doubt.
He returned to the Rovers starting line-up following a serious knee injury he sustained last year, making 29 appearances last season but it looks as though manager Sam Allardyce is planning to shake up his squad.
Emerton joined the Rovers from Dutch club Feyenoord in 2003 and has appeared over 250 times for the club.
