Blackburn Rovers boss Owen Coyle intends to sign outright Swansea City attacker Marvin Emnes.
Emnes joined Rovers on a temporary contract on the last day of the transfer window as it became clear first-team chances at the Liberty would again be limited for the winger.
"Marvin is one I would like to sign," Coyle told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"He comes out of contract next year and he's one I've always been a big admirer of for a number of years. Again the contacts I used at Swansea I got him in for an absolute song in comparison to what he earns.
"There's a number of them (loan players) I'd love to bring to the club permanently. It's always difficult as the better they do the harder it is to get them permanently. But it won't be for a lack of trying. We want that quality of player who can grow at the club."
