Tottenham winger David Bentley is set to rejoin Blackburn Rovers on loan now Football League clubs are able to trade players again.

Bentley moved to Tottenham from Rovers in the summer of 2008 for about £15million but his time in north London has been a struggle.

Bentley's last action of note was during a brief spell with Russian club FC Rostov earlier this season.
