A return to Blackburn Rovers for Tottenham winger David Bentley could be on.
The People says Bentley is being offered the chance to return to Blackburn to kick-start his career.
The midfielder has suffered a frustrating time at Tottenham with just 12 league starts over the past two seasons.
But he has now been shown an escape route with a possible permanent move back to Ewood Park for a fee of around £7million.
That figure could change if Rovers accept Spurs' offer for Chris Samba and make Bentley part of the deal.
But a straight switch is looking more likely and Spurs are happy to let him leave.
