Blackburn Rovers are returning to the negotiating table for AS Roma striker Mirko Vucinic.
The Sun says Rovers hope to find out this weekend whether they can smash their transfer record on Roma striker Vucinic.
Rovers boss Steve Kean is ready to fork out £11million for the Montenegro star, who is set to leave the Italian capital this summer.
He faces stiff competition from other clubs including Juventus for the 27-year-old and a move across Serie A looks most likely.
Vucinic's agent Alessandro Lucci said: "I've been to England to take stock of the situation.
"The interest of English clubs in him goes back some time.
"But I've also had meetings with Juventus, where we talked about many players and they asked for information on Vucinic."
