Blackburn Rovers have released a statement making it clear that wantaway defender Chris Samba is not for sale.
The 27-year old centre-back has handed in a transfer request and told the club he wants to leave before the end of January but Rovers have insisted that the player will not be sold.
"The player signed a new contract with the club less than a year ago which runs to June 2015.""Blackburn Rovers reiterate that team captain Chris Samba is not for sale," said the statement.
