Blackburn Rovers have not given up on signing Real Madrid legend Raul.
The Lancashire Telegraph says Rovers have refused to give up in their pursuit of the Schalke striker.
The 34-year-old would consider a move to East Lancashire, despite his club saying otherwise, but that Schalke are currently unwilling to let him go.
Raul has not travelled with Schalke for tonight's Europa League play-off game against Helsinki and Rovers will monitor the situation closely.
