Blackburn refuse to do Lewandowski business at current price

Blackburn Rovers aren't expected to revive a move for Lech Poznan striker Robert Lewandowski at his present asking price.

Borussia Dortmund's delay in completing the signing of the Lech Poznan striker had led to reports that Rovers had re-entered the race for the 21-year-old.

However, the Lancashire Telegraph says no further official contact has been made since they dropped their interest a fortnight ago.

Lewandowski remains on Sam Allardyce's radar, with the club well aware of his potential, but remain unlikely to pay the £4.5million fee being asked by his Polish employers.
