QPR are ready to send Joey Barton away on-loan.

The Daily Mail says the Rs are poised to loan out controversial midfielder Barton to the Championship with Blackburn Rovers leading the chase.

The 29-year-old is banned for the first 12 games of the season following his shocking sending-off against Manchester City on the final day of last season when he elbowed Carlos Tevez and scuffled with City players amid ugly scenes.
