Blackburn Rovers are moving for Rangers midfielder Amdy Faye.

The Mirror says the Senegalese midfield destroyer is due to have talks and a trial at Ewood Park this week as Rovers seek a replacement for Robbie Savage.

Faye, 30, joined Scottish giants Rangers on loan from Charlton at the start of the season, but has failed to make an impact. However he has Premier League experience with Portsmouth and Newcastle, and could give Rovers a new option.
