Blackburn Rovers are hoping for an early sale of Mauro Formica today.

Formica, 23, has been offered around by little-known Irish agency Estrella Sports in an attempt to raise £3million after moves to Olympiakos and Brazilian side Flamengo failed, says the People.

Rovers do not plan to let unhappy Chris Samba leave and would sell Junior Hoilett only for a fee of more than £6m.
