Blackburn Rovers are pulling back from plans to sign Camel Meriem.

The former AS Monaco midfielder has only had one round of trials at Ewood Park and remains keen to play in the Premiership.

However, the Lancashire Telegraph says any potential move for Meriem remains unlikely though as Rovers remain aware of the next season's 'home-grown player' restrictions.
