Blackburn Rovers are preparing an offer for ex-Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.
The Daily Star Sunday says it is understood Redknapp would be keen to speak to Blackburn's Indian owners, Venky's, if they follow up their interest with an approach If the two parties reach agreement, it would represent a U-turn on both sides.
Venky's - and their global advisor, Shebby Singh - realise appointing Redknapp would not only give them a proven manager, it would also represent a massive PR coup.
The Lancashire town would rally round the club after being critical of Rovers' controversial owners.
