Blackburn Rovers are focusing on bringing Real Madrid midfield schemer Guti to Ewood Park this summer.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is eager to pull off another of his audacious transfer coups by landing the veteran midfielder on a free transfer, and he's using his old Real pal Michel Salgado to sell the idea.
The People says Guti is looking for a huge pay-day and has already been offered a lucrative deal in Turkey by Galatasaray.
But Salgado is bending his ear and flew to Madrid for a summit with him last week.
The fullback is working on talking Guti into the move after the pals went out for dinner in midweek. Raul, another Real hero, has also been sounded out but that looks an impossible task even for Allardyce.
