Blackburn Rovers are ready to sell defender Stephane Henchoz.

Rovers have not received an approach from Fulham, but Hodgson has been linked with a move for the 33-year-old Swiss international in the national press.

The Lancashire Telegraph says Mark Hughes may be prepared to do business after the veteran defender, who is battling back to full fitness after an Achilles operation, failed to cement a place at Ewood Park this season.

Hodgson brought Henchoz to Rovers back in 1997 and has worked with the experienced defender during his time in charge of the Swiss national team.
