Blackburn Rovers are eyeing Olympique Marseille winger Hatem Ben Arfa.
The Daily Mail says Sam Allardyce is keen to land out-of-favour Ben Arfa on a six-month loan.
The Blackburn Rovers boss will offer the France international a chance to rebuild his reputation after a start to the season that has seen Ben Arfa fined and sidelined by boss Didier Deschamps.
The 22-year-old was once considered one of the brightest prospects in Europe, but has struggled since a £9m move from Lyon to Marseille 18 months ago.
Reports in France earlier this month claimed Manchester United had opened talks over a £7.5m January move for the left winger, while Olympiakos and Stuttgart are also interested.
