Blackburn Rovers midfielder Keith Andrews has welcomed the promotion of Blackpool.

Blackpool will now mix it with the likes of neighbours Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City.

Andrews said: "They will certainly bring excitement if Ian Holloway is anything to go by. He is a very infectious character and quite a quirky character.

"He has obviously got his ways, but to get a club like that promoted to the Premier League just shows what a good manager he is.

"It will be exciting for the club and the town and it's not too far from Blackburn. It's going to be a nice little derby for us, so I am looking forward to it."
