Blackburn manager Kean focused on Chelsea, not protesting fans

Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean says he will put all his energy into beating Chelsea this weekend and not worrying about disgruntled fans.

Angry Rovers supporters are again planning protests against Kean at Ewood Park this weekend but he insists that he and the players are only focused on doing what they can do defeat the visiting Blues who are not without problems of their own.

"You've always got to be wary of a backlash," said Kean.

"We'll just be worried about what we do as a side and how we impose ourselves on top of Chelsea.

"I think we'll go into this game full of confidence after what we think should have been back-to-back wins.

"We've only lost one in four and we've scored eight goals in the last three games. We now need to continue and get that clean sheet.

"I don't think they will look forward to coming to Ewood because we're playing well and I think it will be a very tough game for them."
