Reports suggest that Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce could be plotting a move for defender Marco Zoro. The player spent a week on trial with Rovers in January, since then he has been out on loan at Portuguese side Vitoria Setubal.

"I went to Blackburn, but the transfer did not materialise because Benfica asked for a lot of money," said Zoro.

"I could not stay without playing, so I was loaned to Vitoria Setubal.

"I could have then returned to Italy, but for family reasons I preferred to stay in England."
