Blackburn keeper Robinson targets unbeaten run to season end

Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson has challenged teammates to finish the season unbeaten in their final four games.

Sunday's draw against Manchester United saw Rovers stretch their unbeaten record to five games, and with home games against Everton and Arsenal, and Midland trips to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa to come the 30-year-old sees no reason why it can't be achieved.

"We will do everything that we can to remain unbeaten for the remainder of the campaign," said the Rovers No1 on Radio Rovers.

"We secured our Premier League status a while ago but we are now mathematically safe.

"We've had a points target set by the manager and with the run we are on we want to keep it going.

"We play well at Ewood Park and after our recent results people will take us more seriously and we hope the fans will keep coming in their droves until the end of the season."
