Blackburn keeper Robinson looking at the positives

Blackburn's performance in the second half of the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea should give the club encouragement, believes Rovers stopper Paul Robinson. "We are pleased with the way we played in the second half, I think we did a lot better," he told Radio Rovers.

"We took the game to them, we created a few chances.

"If we play like we did in the second half against a lot of teams we'll get results, but they are a class outfit and I think their finishing was the difference."

The result left Blackburn 15th in the Premier League table and without a win in their last six matches, but Robinson is confident things will change.

"We know we are playing reasonably well," he explained.

"There are games where we haven't played as well as we'd like to, but like with the second half display we can take a lot of positives from that.

"There are winnable games coming up and we need to start picking up some points now.

"We are a little bit disappointed but we can take some positives out of our second half performance."
