Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Brad Friedel has happy memories from his time at Liverpool ahead of today's match.

"There aren't too many players on the pitch from my time with Liverpool, there's only Sami Hyypia, Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard that I played with," he told liverpoolfc.tv.

"Off the pitch there are quite a few so it is a very happy return when I go back. It is a club I want to see win the most behind Blackburn.

"Liverpool Football Club is a tremendous club but I've found my home at Blackburn and I'm very happy here."
