Blackburn keeper Brown eyes permanent Leeds move

Leeds United's on-loan stopper Jason Brown has confirmed he would be open to securing a permanent move. The Blackburn Rovers keeper has recently had his one-month loan stay with Leeds extended by a further four weeks.

The 28-year-old Wales international is enjoying his time at Leeds and is hoping to seal a permanent move if he makes a favourable impression.

"My contract at Blackburn finishes at the end of the season and I made it clear to them in the summer that I was very much looking for another club," he told the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.

"I am excited to be at Leeds on loan. It would be a great club maybe to come back to if all goes well.

"I am working as hard as I can in training and if I get another opportunity in the first team I want to make the most of it.

"As good a club as Blackburn are, they don't get crowds of 25,000, even for the visit of Manchester United, so it is a privilege to be at Leeds."
