Blackburn Rovers are set to hold talks with Harry Redknapp today.

The Sun says the former Tottenham chief is set to meet with Rovers global advisor Shebby Singh and chief executive Derek Shaw about succeeding Steve Kean.

At the start of the year Redknapp was the strong favourite to take over from Fabio Capello as England coach.

Now he is willing to speak about dropping down into the Championship - although Blackburn face a huge task to persuade him to take over at Ewood Park.

Redknapp, 65, is keen to get back into management but the distance from his home on the South Coast could yet prove to be a problem.
