Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Dunn is already preparing for life after retirement.

Manager Steve Kean revealed he is now a member of the backroom staff.

He said: "David's not only a player now. He's signed a contract so he's a player-staff member.

"We're going to be helping him get through his coaching education. He's the type of man we'd like to keep at the club.

"He's showed what the goal meant to him."
