AS Monaco defender Cedric Mongongu is mulling over a move to Blackburn Rovers.

The Daily Mail says Rovers have agreed a £2.6million deal with ASM for Mongongu.

The stopper is available following Monaco's relegation and has also courted interest from Italy.

DR Congo international Mongongu, 22, has also been scouted extensively by Arsenal.
