Blackburn Rovers are chasing Stoke City striker Tuncay Sanli.
The Mirror says Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce wants to save Tuncay from his Stoke frustration in a £4million swoop.
Allardyce has launched a bid to bring the Turkey international to Ewood Park this summer.
Tuncay will be offloaded by the Potters after failing to shine since a £5million move from Middlesbrough last season.
And Rovers will battle Sunderland to sign the 28-year-old striker, though Allardyce may have to sell players to raise the cash.
