Blackburn go for Man Utd striker Diouf

Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is eyeing a loan deal for Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf.

The Daily Mail says the Senegal striker made a handful of appearances in the second half of last season after arriving at old Trafford from Molde in January and has been involved in pre-season.

But the capture of Mexican Javier Hernandez has increased competition for a place in the side and 22-year-old Diouf could be farmed out.
