Blackburn Rovers are chasing Cardiff City winger Joe Ledley.

The Mirror says Ledley is out of contract at the Championship club and set to leave the Bluebirds if they fail to go up via the play-offs.

If the 23-year-old joins another English side, Cardiff would receive compensation at a tribunal under FA rules as the club developed him.

And Premier League Rovers hope to snap up the 32-times capped Welshman on the cheap this summer.
