Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has confirmed that Michel Salgado can depart the club in January.
The Spanish veteran will not be at Ewood Park next season and can leave in the winter if a suitable deal arises.
"Michel won't be here next season," Kean confirmed.
"If there is an opportunity for him to find another solution in this window that is something we would look at.
"(It is) out of respect for the player to give him the heads up that this will be his last season."
