Blackburn Rovers fullback Stephen Warnock is aiming to end former club Liverpool's title challenge this weekend.
Warnock, 27, insisted: "My Liverpool connection is all in the past. I am just enjoying my football at Blackburn.
"I won't be thinking about it being Liverpool on Saturday - it is just like any other game for me now.
"I don't care about what goes on in the title race to be honest because it is nothing to do with me. Of course I want them to be successful because I want friends who are at the club to win things.
"But it is Blackburn I look out for now. We have a relegation battle on and I will be delighted if we win on Saturday."
Sam Allardyce's side have racked up 11 points from the last 18 to give themselves a great chance of staying up.
Warnock warned: "Last Saturday's win over Tottenham sets us up nicely for Liverpool.
"It has taken a little bit of pressure off us going there, because the last thing you would want to be doing is going to Liverpool having lost at home the week before.
"Hopefully we can go there and give a good account of ourselves."
