Blackburn fans to meet FA over ownership concerns

A group of Blackburn Rovers fans is meeting the FA to discuss the running of the club by its owners Venky's, reports BBC News. Blackburn Rovers Action Group (BRAG) planned to present a 400-page document detailing the findings of their inquiry into the running of the club.

The group met Sports Minister Hugh Robertson on Wednesday to discuss its concerns, along with local MPs Jack Straw, Jake Berry and Graham Jones.

The club said it did not wish to comment on the Wembley talks.

Indian owners Venky's bought the club in November 2010 in a £43m deal but now find themselves in the Championship next season after relegation from the top flight.

Since then, fans have staged numerous protests against their ownership and management of the Ewood Park club.
