Blackburn Rovers are set to give up their pursuit of Tottenham coach Tim Sherwood.

The London Evening Standard says Blackburn fear they may have to abandon their interest in appointing Tottenham technical co-ordinator Sherwood as their new manager.

Spurs are seeking up to £3million in compensation for their former midfielder.
