Rovers boss Steve Kean is hoping for movement in the transfer market this week after a quiet campaign so far.
The Mirror says Monaco defender N'Koulou is on Kean's radar, with the Cameroon international available after ASM's relegation.
Rovers will face competition from Marseille for the 21 year-old.
