Blackburn Rovers have dropped their £6 million pursuit of Hoffenheim striker Vedad Ibisevic.
The Mirror says he was due to join before the deadline but Rovers pulled out over worries about when he'll be fully fit. Bosnian Ibisevic could not come for a medical as he failed to get a visa. And Rovers pulled back despite plans to fly to Germany to test his thigh strain at his current club.
Kean had teed up the Ibisevic move for weeks - with the deal structured in a way that came within his budget.
