Blackburn deny search for new director of football
Blackburn Rovers insist they're not seeking a new director of football.
The Lancashire Telegraph says the likes of Walter Smith, Rafael Benitez and Martin O’Neill have been touted as potential candidates.
However, with Simon Hunt already at the club as a sporting director, Venky’s are understood to not be considering any dramatic changes.
A Venky’s source, said: “These are just rumours. They are not true.
"We already have a Sporting Director at the club and reports of a director of football are just speculation.”
