Ryan Nelsen is being treated by the All Blacks medical specialists in New Zealand as he struggles to overcome injury and help Blackburn Rovers battle against relegation. The 34 year old has been out for nine months due to a knee injury.
"His absence has been a big blow to us and we are all hoping he can now find a way forward." "Ryan has been feeling a little discomfort after playing in practice games and he has gone to see some of the specialists who deal with the All Blacks rugby squad,'' Rovers boss Steve Kean told the club's website.
