Blackburn Rovers defender Matt Kilgallon is delighted for Jordan Henderson over his success with Liverpool.
The pair played together at Sunderland and faced off in yesterday's FA Cup stalemate.
"I knew him from my Sunderland days," said Kilgallon. "He's at such a young age but a proper professional already. It just looks like he's kicking on and kicking on now.
"He will end up being a top captain for Liverpool. He's got everything there and just maturing as a player. It's nice to see him doing well. He was 17 when I first saw him.
"You could see it there, playing above his years. He's got his dream move and he's cracking on. He's probably their best player at the minute."
