Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes is ready to hand former Manchester United midfielder Quinton Fortune a contract.

He said: "It's a situation we are still looking at. We'll be fair to him.

"We probably still need a little bit more time to look at him in certain situations, but it may be an option for us to have him from now until the end of the season to give him a chance to impress."
