Blackburn Rovers are set to sign Airdrie striker Liam Coogans according to the player himself.
The 17-year old told the Daily Record that he is on the verge of signing a deal with the Ewood Park club where he will join fellow Scots Jordan Rhodes and David Goodwillie.
"Airdrie have accepted a bid of £50,000 for me and I'm happy with the terms, we're just waiting for everything to be confirmed," Coogans said.
"I'm really looking forward to going full-time and playing in England with a huge club such as Blackburn.
"I'll be hooking up with Jordan Rhodes and David Goodwillie so we could have an all-Scottish front three.
"The club are only a couple of points from the play-off zone so it's possible they could be back in the Premier League next season, which would be amazing."
