Blackburn chiefs leave West Brom's Cox in transfer limbo

West Bromwich Albion striker Simon Cox finds himself in transfer limbo.

The Birmingham Mail says the Baggies and Rovers were due to shake hands on a structured deal worth a potential £2 million.

It involved three separate instalments of £500,000, with an extra £500,000 based on performance-related add-ons.

However, it has now emerged that while Steve Kean was determined to push the deal through, certain members of the club's hierarchy want to stop the deal, leaving Cox's future in limbo.
