Livorno striker Gaston Cellerino is a target for Blackburn Rovers.
The People says Cellerino scored 21 goals in 29 games in Chile before earning a move to Italy.
But despite shooting them into the top-flight last season, Cellerino struggling for starts in Serie A because Livorno coach Serse Cosmi only plays one front man.
The 23-year-old is rated at £4.5million and with Allardyce set to move Benni McCarthy out of the club, he is keen to snap up the former Boca Juniors youth star on loan.
