Blackburn Rovers chairman John Williams has dismissed talk that the club might be prepared to sanction the exit of Jason Roberts in the new year, with Derby County rumoured to be showing an interest in the striker.

"I'm not aware of any interest and, in my opinion, we'd want to keep him at the club," Williams told the Evening Telegraph.
