Blackburn Rovers caretaker boss Steve Kean admits they'd welcome the chance to sign LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham on-loan.

Beckham has declared he'd welcome a loan move back to Europe next month.

Asked if he would want Beckham, Kean told talkSPORT: "If he was available to come in you never know. He's very good friends with our full-back Michel Salgado who speaks very highly of him and I think whoever gets him, if he decides to come back, will be getting magnificent quality.

"A number of years ago when I was at Fulham we shared the same training camp as Real Madrid and at that time he didn't think he could come back into England, now maybe that's changed."
