Blackburn can beat the drop according to Lowe

Blackburn Rovers youngster Jason Lowe is confident the club will avoid the drop this season.

The Lancashire outfit clawed their way out of the relegation zone with a gritty 3-2 home win over QPR on Saturday and 20-year old defender Lowe feels that can be the impetus for more positive results for the remainder of the campaign.

"Blackburn Rovers is the main thing that happens in the town and we'll do everything we can to make sure we stay in this league," Lowe told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"I'm confident we can do that, we just have to keep producing performances and take our chances, and try to get the clean sheets on the board. That's what's going to get us out of there."
