Blackburn Rovers hope to strike a £2 million deal with Lens for striker Aruna Dindane.
The Mirror says Rovers are ready to sign striker Dindane in a £2 million deal - and let him play on for Portsmouth to save his FA Cup and World Cup dreams.
Dindane is distraught as he wanted to help Avram Grant's club in the FA Cup semi final against Tottenham and also play on to keep alive his chances of making Ivory Coast's squad for the World Cup finals.
But now Rovers, who wanted Dindane in the last transfer window, are poised to step in and sort out a reduced price with Lens that would see the pacey striker agree to join them in the summer.
