Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has welcomed new assistant manager Eric Black.
He fills the vacancy following Paul Clement's departure to Paris St Germain this month.
Welcoming Black's appointment, Rovers boss Kean told the club's official website: "I am delighted that Eric has agreed to come on board.
"He is someone with extensive coaching experience at the highest level and I feel sure he will play a key role over the coming months."
Former Coventry and Motherwell manager Black left his post as Sunderland assistant boss following Steve Bruce's sacking last month.
