The side were roared on throughout by some 1000 Rovers fans, the players and staff all showing their appreciation at the end.
"I wanted to us to show our appreciation at the end by going over and clapping them, the players and staff both went over because I thought they were excellent today," the Rovers boss told his club's website.
"They got behind us from the first minute, I think they were impressed with the way we tried to go about our business and I'm delighted for the travelling fans as they've come along way and London has been good for us.
"We got a good point at Fulham, we beat Arsenal and now we've got another London club coming up with Tottenham at Ewood on Sunday."
